Historique :	Oeuvre anciennement située dans l'angle du mur gouttereau d'une maison ruinée, commune de Mornay (Côte-d'Or), et ramenée à Genevrières le 28 mars 1971 par sa propriétaire. Jean de Martigny, écuyer, seigneur de Montigny et Villeneuve en partie, fut nommé par Charles IX, capitaine du château de Saulx-le-Duc en 1567. Il avait épousé Louise de Lestouf, héritiaire de Mornay. Jean de Martigny, seigneur de Mornay du chef de sa femme, les armes de celle-ci devaient se trouver sur un autre pilier.
